Certified Copy Fee Increase

Effective July 1, 2026, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services is increasing the fees for certified copies (birth, death, marriage) of vital records. The fee will increase from $15 to $20. The fee for birth registrations will increase from $35 to $40. Marriage registration fees will remain $35.
