Sunset Lodge has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, a loft with four queen-size beds, a great room with TV/DVD and gas fireplace, a full bath and full kitchen and have 10 x 24 upper and lower decks. The lower level is handicap accessible. Each lodge includes electricity, sink with hot and cold running water, microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, table, heat & air conditioning, and limited cleaning supplies. Lodge renters provide all personal items such as linens, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, towels, etc. A picnic table and fire ring with grill are provided for each lodge.

  • Seasons: Sunset Lodge is available for reservation year round.

Restrictions

  • NO PETS allowed inside the cabins, lodges, shelters, bathrooms, or on the beach.
  • Minimum Stay: 2 nights
  • Minimum Stay (holidays): 3 nights
  • Maximum Stay: 14 nights

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a reservation, you will forfeit 100% of all reservation fees paid. All cancellations must be made by calling the Lyon County Conservation Board Office at (712) 753-2033.

Refund Policy

All reservations with the Lyon County Conservation Board facilities are final. Reservations are non-refundable unless the following situations occur:

  1. The National Weather Service has issued severe winter weather conditions and advised against travel.
  2. We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event.

All requests for refunds must be made by calling the Lyon County Conservation Board Office at (712) 753-2033.

Fees

  • A 4% processing fee is applied to all credit card reservations.
  • All vehicles must pay a park entrance fee.
