Lyon County Conservation Board is accepting applications for a new board member.

Are you passionate about the environment and want to be involved in shaping the future of our county’s natural resources? Lyon County Conservation Board is seeking a dedicated individual from the Rock Rapids to serve on the Board for a five-year term.

We encourage applications from all backgrounds to ensure a wide range of experiences on the conservation board. Commitment of time includes but not limited to monthly board meetings. Meetings typically are the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm at the Lyon County Nature Center 1651 180th Street, Inwood, IA 51240.
